Your Gmc car has an onboard diagnostic computer that will store trouble codes when there is something wrong with the vehicle's emissions control system. The emissions system is important and if it is malfunctioning, it can dramatically affect the performance of the Gmc car engine. Once you've fixed the vehicle,VOLVO VIDA DICE you need to know how to reset the check engine light. To do this, you need a special tool available at most auto parts stores called an OBD scan tool.Autel MaxiDas The scan tool will have a feature that allows you to erase all stored engine codes, which will reset the check engine light.
Locate the open OBD port to the left of the fuse panel in the driver's side foot well.
Plug the OBD scan tool into the open port.
Turn the ignition to the "II" position (the "on" position),gm tech2 but do not try to crank the engine.
Press "erase" on the scan tool to erase all computer codes and reset the check engine light.
The Toyota Tundra, first manufactured in 1999, featured the second phase of on-board diagnostics (OBD II) that diagnose issues that occur to the truck's engine and operating system and communicate codes (DTCs, or diagnostic trouble codes) to the computer of the vehicle.XTOOL HD900 OBD II standardized the equipment necessary to scan and read the trouble codes that cause the check-engine light (malfunction indicator light or MIL) to illuminate on the instrument panel. Reading the codes is required to determine what triggered the MIL.
Locate the data link connector (DLC) in the Toyota Tundra under the driver's side dashboard.OBDSTAR X300M It's on the right hand side of the steering column pointing straight down.
Plug the pocket scanner's 16-point connector to the data link connector. Because of the DLC's shape, there is only one way to plug it in correctly.
Place the key in the ignition and turn it two clicks forward to the accessory power position, without the engine of the Tundra running. This position will light up all the instrument panel lights.
Follow the instructions in the pocket scanner's manual to read the diagnostic trouble code that triggered the check-engine light.UCANDAS VDM2 These scanners are very easy to use and are practically self-explanatory.
Scroll to the "read codes" option on the scanner (some scanner models may feature the letters DTCs instead of codes).
Press the "Enter" or "Send" button to read the code(s) that triggered the MIL.
Refer to the manual of the scanner to determine the trouble code. Some scanners may feature a brief description,Launch M-Diag Lite Plus while cheaper scanner models may only display the code number.
Research the diagnostic trouble code on a computer using a universal diagnostic trouble code website (see Resources). Codes lower than 1000 are universal, but code numbers over 1000 are specific to the vehicle.
Open the driver's side door of the Jeep Commander and then locate the Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) below the dash.Renault CAN Clip This trapezoidal-shaped outlet may or may not have a protective plug covering it on the Commander. If a plug is present, pull it off by hand.
Plug the OBD II code reader into the DLC and then turn the ignition key to the key-on/engine-off position. This position is two forward clicks in the ignition that will power the Commander's electrical components without starting the engine. This will also provide portable power to the OBD II code reader.
Follow the instructions on the screen/menu of the code reader.VAG COM 17.1 There are many brands and types of code readers, but most employ a main menu with and up and down scroll button and an "Enter" or "Send" button.
Scroll to the "Read codes" option on the scanner and press the Enter button.
Write the code(s) down on a piece of paper for future reference. This is in the event the code(s) present on the Commander have been previously diagnosed and corrected by the repairs that caused the MIL to illuminate. In the event the MIL re-illuminates, refer to the paper and code as a reference.
Scroll back to the main menu on the OBD II code reader and select the"Erase codes" option.GM Tech2 The reader will most likely ask if you're sure you want to perform this step. Choose "Yes." A "Command sent" message will appear on the code reader, but do not remove the plug from the DLC until the main menu reappears.
Start the engine to the Jeep Commander and inspect the instrument panel to ensure the MIL is out.
College graduation regalia originated in the 12th century. That origin is the basis for all universities using the robes, pasteboard caps, and hoods.OBDSTAR Although each university has it's own rules for the graduation regalia, there are a few easy set rules to follow.
Wear the robe during the entire graduation ceremony. The most common color of robe is black. Shoes and dress pants should typically match the color of the robe.
Ensure that the cap with the mortarboard is level with the ground. The caps should be worn during the entire ceremony. Men might be required to remove the cap during prayer, national anthem or Alma Mater.gm tech2 Cues for removing caps at these times should be addressed beforehand but if they are not, watch the presiding officer and follow their lead.
Place the tassel on the right side before degrees are awarded. Once degrees are award, move the tassel to the left. Although this is common practice, this is not an official rule that is used by all universities and may not be done.
Put the graduate hood on over the robe. For some degrees, like a master's or doctoral, the graduate will be hooded as they are given the diploma. For degrees awarded en mass, the hood should be worn over the robes during the entire ceremony. Despite this rule,Yanhua Digimaster 3 many universities have removed the hood for bachelor's degree and the bachelor's robe will be worn without a hood.
Roll the edge of the hood outward so that the inside colors of the hood show. The end of the hood will look something like a fin and should not be turned inside out but hang parallel to the ground.
